Three taken to hospital after Staffordshire tractor smash

Three people were taken to hospital after a car collided with a tractor in Staffordshire.

Fire crews from Stafford and Rugeley were called to the crash by the Wolseley Arms on the A51, Wolseley Bridge, at around 10pm last night.

Part of the car ended up underneath the trailer on the tractor but nobody was trapped.

Three people were taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital as a precautionary measure.

Three ambulances and a rapid response paramedic attended the scene.
