Emergency services were called to Elmore Green Road in Bloxwich after the vehicle hit a parked car, at around 4.30pm on Saturday.

A woman passenger in her 60s had been freed by an off duty student paramedic and an off duty firefighter, who both came across the incident.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said the woman was treated by ambulance staff for an arm injury and bruising caused by her seat belt, before being taken to Walsall's Manor hospital.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman Jamie Arrowsmith added: "Crews worked closely with the fire service to carefully cut the man, believed to be in his 60s, free from the car, a process which took approximately 30 minutes.

"Once free he was immobilised and taken to Walsall Manor Hospital as a precaution having escaped any serious injuries in the collision."
