Officers said there were concerns for the safety of Sabeela Waid, 14, who has been missing several times before.

The 14-year-old was last seen in Walter Street, West Bromwich around midday on Setpember 28.

She and is known to frequent Walsall and Darlaston.

Det Insp Mick Spellman said: "We have been speaking to a number of people whom Sabeela is known to have had contact with, but so far our efforts have failed to trace her.

"In view of her age, we are deeply concerned for Sabeela's welfare and would urge anyone who knows of her whereabouts to get in touch.

"I would also appeal to Sabeela directly to contact her family and let them know that she is safe."

Sabeela is around 5ft 3" tall and slim.

Anyone who can help in the search for Sabeela is asked to call police on 101 or alternatively information can be given anonymously to the Missing People charity on 116 000.
