The 89-year-old man was taken to New Cross Hospital after falling on Wolverhampton's Willenhall Road, near to the junction with Uplands Avenue, at around 10.50am.

Kirsty Ball, aged 23, who lives on Willenhall Road, said: “It's a shock. There were no cars about so I thought maybe he had just passed out or something. I hope he's OK.”
