A woman had to be cut free from her car after hitting the central reservation on the M6.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the southbound carriageway near junction 8 for the M5.
The woman, who was in her mid 20s, was released from the Seat Leon and taken to Sandwell Hospital with suspected neck and back injuries. Her condition was not believed to be life-threatening.
Two lanes of the southbound carriageway and one on the northbound side were closed while emergency services were at the scene at around 7pm on Saturday.
