Concerns had been raised after Charlene Jones and her son Kayden were reported as missing.

They had not been seen since August 20.

Visitors to their home in Prince Street, Pleck, some two weeks later discovered they had not been there for some time and reported it to police, sparking a search.

Investigations revealed they may have travelled to Birmingham and could had been in the Erdington, Lozells and Handsworth areas.

It was also believed they may have stopped at a hotel in the Edgbaston area.

CCTV inquiries had shown them visiting a shop in Handsworth earlier this week.

Police launched an appeal for people to get in touch if they know of their whereabouts. Officers said Charlene's family were worried about her, and urged her to get in touch with her mother.

Walsall CID today revealed the pair had been found and thanked everyone for their help with the appeal.

They said the pair were safe and well.
