Burglar takes cash in Essington distraction burglary

A burglar took cash from residents after demanding money for gardening work that had not been requested or completed.

A man approached residents at their home in St John's Road, Essington, and demanded money, leaving with a 'small amount' of cash.

The distraction burglary happened at around 11.15am on January 15.

Detectives from Staffordshire Police have released an e-fit of a suspect they want to speak to in connection the burglary.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone that recognises the man in the e-fit or has any other information about the burglary is asked to email Bradley.Mercer-Wilkinson@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk quoting incident number 277 of January 15.
