VIDEO: Horrific pub machete attack is caught on camera

This is the horrific moment a machete gang launched a vicious attack on a man at a pub, leaving him seriously injured.

The footage shows the victim being chased outside the Old Crown Pub in Halesowen before falling to floor and being set upon by a group a around five thugs.

The silver blade of the machete carried by one of the gang is clearly visible.

The victim, aged 22 and from Birmingham, was taken to hospital after the attack at the Carters Lane pub at around 1.15am on March 25.

Police described the gang as 'five or six black and white men', and said they believed it was a 'targeted attack'.

West Midlands Police said: "We strongly believe that someone knows who did this and that someone will have information that could prove vital to our investigation.
