Reports of violence after Bristol City vs Wolves match

There are reports of violence after Wolves' match away at Bristol City today.

The Bristol Post has reported police closed roads in an area of the city after the game and that arrests were made, with two men being taken to hospital.

The Post quotes a spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary as saying: "We were called to North Street shortly after 6pm to reports two men had been assaulted by another two men.

"Both have been taken to hospital. Neither injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

"Part of North Street was closed while officers searched for evidence from the scene.

"A 26-year-old man has been arrested. Our enquiries are on going."

It is not clear if those arrested or injured were Wolves fans.

Wolves lost the game at Ashton Gate 3-1.
