Teenagers brawl at McDonald's in Willenhall prompting police investigation

A brawl broke out between teenagers at a McDonald's restaurant in Willenhall.

Violence caused panic on social media after a group of teenagers began fighting at the restaurant last night.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital after the violence at the fast food outlet, in Crescent Road.

He suffered minor injuries to his hand.

Police were called at around 6pm following reports of the fight involving the group of teenagers.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

Searches were carried out in the area and officers are looking at CCTV as part of the investigation.

A McDonald's spokesman said: "We are aware of an incident taking place in our restaurant, which resulted in injury being caused at a different location.

"We are fully cooperating with police as they investigate this and have handed over relevant CCTV, in order to assist them in this process."
