Wolverhampton bus station stabbing: Boy, 16, in court over Pipers Row violence

A teenager was appearing in court today after a boy aged 16 was stabbed at Wolverhampton bus station.

The accused, who is also 16, is charged with wounding and being in possession of an offensive weapon.

He was arrested in connection with the attack, which happened just before 6pm on Saturday.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was today said to be in a a stable condition.

The bus station was closed as a result of the stabbing, forcing buses to drop and collect passengers on Pipers Row.

The youngster was appearing before Dudley Magistrates Court today.
