Arrest as man who 'made death threats' is found in a tree

A Kidderminster man was arrested when he was found in a tree after allegedly making death threats.

The 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and threats to commit criminal damage. He has now been bailed.

Police searching for the man found him at 8.40am in a tree near to Medal Close, Kidderminster.

The arrest is in connection with an incident which occurred between 7.30am and 8.07am on Saturday in Olympian Court, Kidderminster.

Officers along with paramedics and the fire brigade spent several hours trying to safely get the man down from the tree.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident in Olympian Court or has information that could help with their investigation.
