Nawaz Ahmed, aged 36, is accused of having sex with the 14-year-old three times and taking a category A picture of them having sex on his mobile phone.

Wolverhampton Crown Court was shown a video of a police interview with the girl in which she said she had not resisted sex with him – but had been 'like a ragdoll' when it look place.

The offences are said to have taken place over about a fortnight in 2014.

Prosecutor Mr Peter Arnold told the court that the teenager was able to tell police about distinctive features relating to A1 City Cars driver Ahmed, of Hucker Road, Pleck.

She had been unsure about where the defendant lived initially but when taken there by officers she pointed out his property immediately, without any hesitation, he added.

Mr Arnold also revealed that the girl is on the autistic spectrum and also suffers from an anxiety disorder.

In his opening speech to the jury, Mr Arnold added: "She says she was a customer in his taxi and chatted her up.

"He said 'you're cute, you're sexy', asked for her mobile phone number."

In the police video of the girl she recalled having sex with the man and also talked of an occasion on which she was left in his home alone.

According to Mr Arnold, Ahmed had taken an explicit image on his mobile and then deleted it. But it was later found by police.

The court heard Ahmed had admitted in a police interview on December 12, 2014 that he had given the girl lifts in his taxi but denied having sex with her.

Ahmed denies three counts of sexual activity with a child and another of taking indecent photographs of a child.

He was granted bail.

The case continues.
