A 40-strong team of officers executed a warrant at The Talisman on the Scotlands Estate in Wolverhampton, after being tipped off by members of the public in March this year.

The subsequent closure of the pub, described as 'at the heart of an organised crime drug ring', sparked a protest from its customers.

But it was later allowed to open again with conditions imposed.

Today, Bushbury/Oxley NPT tweeted that three relatives had been charged with drugs offences following raids at the Talisman and related addresses.

Unemployed Gregory Simpson, aged 30, Hatherton Gardens, Bushbury, driver Jake Simpson, 22, of Wordsworth Road, Bushbury, and caretaker Collette Simpson, 49, of Wordsworth Road, Bushbury, are all charged with possession with intent to supply.

They have been bailed to appear at Walsall Magistrates' Court on November 18.
