Two men charged over violent necklace robberies

Two people have been charged in connection with a series of violent robberies in Staffordshire and Walsall where necklaces were snatched from vulnerable women.

Six victims were targeted within hours of each other on September 29, three in Walsall, one in Norton Canes, one in Burntwood and one in Lichfield.

Staffordshire and West Midlands Police forces launched a joint investigation and, within 24 hours, arrested one man, while they picked up a youth shortly after.

Police confirmed Joshua Bluck, aged 24, from Walsall, and a 17-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, of no fixed address, have been charged with six counts of robbery each.
