Simon Johnson murder: Father-of-two was 'repeatedly stabbed in the back'

The inquest has opened into the death of a man who was found stabbed at his home.

Simon Johnson's body was found on Cradley Road, in Netherton, on August 11.

The 41-year-old father-of-two was discovered at the top of the stairs when he had not arrived at work.

He had been stabbed in the back on a number of occasions, Black Country Coroners Court heard.

Four teenagers were arrested on suspicion of murder but later released on bail until October 17.

The medical cause of death given was stab wounds.

Senior Coroner Zafar Siddique adjourned the inquest until November 28.
