WATCH: Shocking knife fight erupts at West Midlands train station

The is the moment a 12in knife was pulled in a brawl as it erupted at a main train station in the West Midlands.

The shocking footage shows one of the fighters falling to the floor in a scuffle, before unsheathing the blade and wielding at two other youths.

The footage was released today as police made an appeal to find the m,en, who are black and thought to be in their 20s.

The horror unfolded at the ticket barriers at Birmingham's Moor Street station at around 7.15pm on August 25.

Pc Shane Whitehouse from BTP said: "Anyone who is willing to carry a knife and brandish it in such a public place needs to be found and taken off the streets.

"Thankfully, incidents like this on the railway in Birmingham are rare and we are not aware of anybody being injured as a result of what happened.

The knife is held aloft before it's unsheathed

"Anyone who carries a knife is likely to be stabbed themselves and many victims often find their own knife is grabbed and used against them in an attack.

"Someone out there will know who these men are and I would urge them to do the right thing and contact us with their names."
