Stourbridge school 'hit-and-run': Man released on bail after women and two young children hurt

A man arrested over a suspected hit-and-run that left two women and two young children injured has been released on bail until later in the year.

Two three-year-old children and two adults were injured when they were hit close to Hob Green Primary School in Hob Green Road, Wollescote.

The youngsters – a boy and a girl – and the two women were taken to hospital but not seriously hurt in the incident on September 12.

The incident happened just before 9am in front of children and staff.

The man has been bailed until November 1.

Anyone with information has been asked to call West Midlands Police on 101.
