Wolverhampton arrest: Man held on suspicion of attempted murder after woman stabbed

A man from Wolverhampton has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police confirmed officers had made the arrest following an attack on Monday.

A 25-year-old man from Wolverhampton was arrested yesterday.

He remains in police custody today.

The arrest relates to an incident in which a woman was stabbed in Saxon Gate East in central Milton Keynes at around 8.15am.

A woman aged in her 30s was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital for treatment.

The victim remains in hospital for treatment and is in a stable condition.
