Teen fights for life after Birmingham Moor Street stabbing

A teenager is fighting for his life after being stabbed in Birmingham city centre last night.

The victim, believed to be in his late teens, remains in a critical condition this morning after he was rushed to hospital shortly before midnight on Monday.

An area of Carrs Lane and Moor Street, next to Marks & Spencer and opposite Moor Street train station, has been sealed off while forensic officers examine the scene.

No arrests have been made, but officers are trawling to CCTV and a number of witnesses have been spoken to.
