Knife, baton and baseball bat found after disorder on Walsall street

Discarded weapons were recovered by police after disorder broke in a Walsall street.

A baton, knife and baseball were all found by officers in Rutter Street.

West Midlands Police has launched an investigation and urged any witnesses to come forward.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

No injuries were reported to police following the incident, which broke out around 6.20pm on Sunday.

A spokesman West Midlands Police said: "Anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any information, which may assist detectives, should contact the Walsall investigation team."
