Shirtless suspect hunted by police after attack in Rugeley's Grapevine pub

Five people were injured after violence broke out at a new bar in Rugeley.

Police were called at around 2am on Saturday after a group of men started a fight inside the Grapevine, on Brewery Street, which is believed to have opened the day before.

A suspect, who was described as being shirtless, walked away from the scene towards Broad Street, police said.

Two men, aged 41 and 35, and two women, aged 21 and 18, had their injuries tended to by ambulance colleagues at the scene.

A third man, aged 41, was taken to hospital and released the same day.
