The girl contacted police in April after being followed at least three times in the Colley Gate and Cradley areas of the borough.

The first of these occasions was on March 30 when the teenager fled when a man tried to pull her into a side street.

She was followed onto the number 9 bus at Stourbridge bus station by the man pictured, who tailed her all the way to Windmill Hill in Cradley.

Police want to identify this man, who is suspected of following a girl around Colley Gate and Cradley

After leaving the bus at around 8.50pm the man is believed to have tried talking to the teenager before attempting to pull her into Foredraft Street.

The girl managed to run away to safety but has since had two similarly scary run-ins.

Police say they have put measures in place to keep the 16-year-old safe but have been unable to trace the suspect, who is described as black, around 6ft tall with a medium build and aged 25 to 30 years old.

And after failing with numerous enquiries since the girl contacted police on April 16, officers today released these CCTV images in a bid to identify the suspect.
