The issue has been a priority for officers working in the All Saints and Ettingshall areas.

The men will now be sent on a rehabilitation course.

Sgt Jon Yeomans from the Ettingshall neighbourhood team, said: "During this review period the team have completed overt and covert patrols of the vice areas of Wolverhampton.

"Six men have been caught soliciting women for the purposes of prostitution and will be attending a kerb crawler rehabilitation course in the near future."

It follows on from action in February when five street sex workers were issued with street warnings for loitering, while three men who were caught soliciting were referred to the rehabilitation scheme.
