Man stabbed as he tried to stop fight outside girlfriend's West Bromwich home

A man was stabbed twice after confronting three teenagers fighting outside his girlfriend's home.

James Ralph, aged 27, was injured on the shoulder and leg after trying to stop the youths on Skidmore Drive, West Bromwich.

Mr Ralph, from Warley, has been off work since the attack during the early hours of Sunday morning. He received treatment in hospital for his injuries and was given stitches.

Four teenagers – three males aged 15, 16 and 19, and a 13-year-old girl – were arrested in connection with the stabbing but have been released on bail while police carry out further investigations.

Witness are asked to call police on the non-emergency 101 number.
