The photograph was retrieved by Counter Terrorism officers from a Samsung mobile phone at the Pargeter Street house he shares with his parents and brothers, a terrorism trial heard.

Forensic examination of the device found it had been sent to a friend called Abdul Mumin on August 24, 2014 at 6.59pm – the same day Shaukat's car is pictured leaving Stansted Airport where it is alleged he was dropping off his friend Sajid Aslam, 34, of Glebe Street, Walsall, to make the start of his journey to join ISIS in Syria.

Trainee teacher Lorna Moore and Ayman Shaukat are both on trial at the Old Bailey accused of terrorist offences

The jury at the Old Bailey was yesterday shown a series of mobile phone records including messages sent from Shaukat's phone. It included a bizarre exchange between Shaukat, 27, and a woman called Juveriah.

Shaukat, 27, who denies two counts of aiding Aslam and another friend Alex Nash, 22, of Bentley Street, Walsall, to a woman called Juveriah.

Juveriah states: "I've always wanted to meet someone like you. Not scared to say your opinion."

Shaukat replies: "I hear that a lot. Oh definitely not scared."

Then Juveriah adds: "Can't say I completely agree with you though."

"You don't need to. But you will," Shaukat says, before adding: "Radicalise and incite."

Previously the jury was also shown pictures of Shaukat's car arriving at Birmingham Airport dropping off Alex Nash and his wife Yousma Jan on November 4, 2014, who were travelling to Istanbul and were later arrested and deported by Turkish police for being too close to the Syria border.

The jury had previously been shown these photos of Alex Nash and Yousma Jan at security in Birmingham Airport, top; Ayman Shaukat's Ford Mondeo at the airport, bottom right; and an ISIS flag found in Shaukat's flat

Nash has admitted preparing for acts of terrorism and that he intended to go to Syria.

Shaukat, of Pargeter Street, Walsall, is on trial and denies assisting Aslam and Alex Nash to fight for ISIS by taking them to airports, and possessing illegal material under the Terrorism Act.

The jury also heard a statement from Nash's mother Lynn Porter who said Shaukat had helped moved a fridge freezer and other possessions of her son to the Walsall Islamic Centre in Bradford Lane.

Also in the dock is Muslim convert Lorna Moore, 33, the wife of Aslam, also of Glebe Street, who denies a charge of failing to inform authorities of Aslam's plans. It is alleged she was also planning to join her husband with their three children in Syria.

Siadatan's wife Kerry Thomason, 24, has admitted assisting her husband in preparation of acts of terrorism. The trial continues.
