Criminal fraternity: It's all relative as brothers, cousins and even mothers and sons are snared in Sandwell crime blitz

[gallery] It's a family affair for criminals and Sandwell. Parents, brothers, cousins and partners have all been sentenced as part of the borough's Safer Six blitz on crime in the area.

Sentences totalling more than 100 years have been dished out to criminals for crimes ranging from drug dealing to handling stolen goods.

Today police revealed for the first time just how close knit some of those snared in the operation were:

Those sentenced include:

  • Amandeep Kaur Gill, 23, unemployed of St Mark’s Road, Smethwick. She was jailed for 32 months for conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin and is the partner of Daniel Delahaye, 27, unemployed of no fixed address, who was jailed for 40 months for conspiracy to supply crack cocaine.

  • Kelly Jesson, 27, unemployed of Grace Road, Tipton, Sandwell, who was jailed for 18 months (suspended for two years) for conspiracy to supply crack cocaine. She is the partner of Justin Brook, 30, unemployed, of Grace Road, Tipton. He was jailed for 18 months for conspiracy to supply crack cocaine.

  • Reece Roberts, 23, unemployed of Primrose Lane, Scotlands, Wolverhampton. He was jailed for 54 months for conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine. He is the son of Nicola Turner, 42, of Primrose Lane, Bushbury. She will be sentenced at a date yet to be set for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.

  • Andrew Lilley, 27, unemployed of Campville Crescent, West Bromwich, was jailed for 15 months for possession with intent to supply cannabis and supplying cannabis. He is the brother of Darren Lilley, 24, unemployed of no fixed address. He was jailed for 12 months for breach of an existing anti-social behaviour and conspiracy to handle stolen goods.

  • Brandon Coates, 19, unemployed of Bassett Crescent, Hateley Heath, West Bromwich, was jailed for six months (suspended for 12 months) for conspiracy to handle stolen goods. He is the brother of Liam Coates, 21, unemployed, of no fixed address. He was jailed for six months for conspiracy to handle stolen goods.

  • Scott Timmins, 25, unemployed, of no fixed address. He was jailed for 12 months for 12 months for conspiracy to handle stolen goods and is the cousin of Liam Coates, 21, unemployed of no fixed address. He was jailed for six months for conspiracy to handle stolen goods.
