Two face trial over £4k Willenhall Superdrug raid

Two men will face trial for allegedly breaking into the Superdrug store in Willenhall and taking £4,800 worth of perfume.

It is also alleged that Jamie Hopson and Liam Baker entered The Wheatsheaf pub on Walsall Road, Great Wyrley, with intent to steal.

Hopson, aged 21, of Vaughan Road, Willenhall, and Baker, 20, of Stafford Street, Willenhall, are jointly charged with burglary at Superdrug in Market Place and attempted burglary at The Wheatsheaf, both on December 23.

Additionally, Hopson is also charged with dangerous driving and driving while disqualified and with no insurance.

They will appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on March 17 for a plea and case management hearing. Both were remanded in custody.
