Five arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Wolverhampton raids

Five people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in a series of raids in Wolverhampton.

Police swooped on four addresses across The Scotlands and Bushbury following information from members of the public, and arrested five people on suspicion of conspiring to supply drugs.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested from Ruskin Road; an amount of cannabis and drugs paraphernalia was also found at the address.

At one address in Tennyson Road, a 32-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were arrested. Cannabis, class A drugs and a large amount of cash was found in the property.

Meanwhile, in a second address in Tennyson Road, a 34-year-old man was arrested and cannabis was found.

At a Stafford Road home, a 30-year-old man was detained and cannabis and class A drugs were found following a search of the property.

All five remain in police custody this evening.
