'A great character and a wonderful family man': Tributes to 'hit-and-run' victim Matthew Cullum

A man found dead after an alleged hit-and-run in Stourport has been named as Matthew Cullum.

Mr Cullum, aged 36, was discovered on Hillary Road in the early hours of Saturday. He worked as a data control operative in Kidderminster.

A statement issued on behalf of his family said: "Matthew was tragically taken from us. Many people have lost the opportunity to share in the exciting times that lay ahead.

"A great character and wonderful family man, he will be sadly missed and the family would like to thank everyone for the kind messages."

A 22-year-old man from Kidderminster was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed until November.
