Man bailed over 'dangerous driving' death of pedestrian

A 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been bailed by police.

A man was found dead after apparently being hit by a car and dragged down a country lane between Stourport and Kidderminster.

Police were called to the incident at 4am on Saturday after the body of a 36-year-old man from Stourport was discovered in Hillary Road.

The 22-year-old presented himself at Kidderminster Police Station following a police appeal for information.

West Mercia Police have confirmed the man has been bailed until November while investigations continue.
