PICTURED: Burglary suspect selling silver after £10,000 jewellery raid

This man was being sought by police today after cash and jewellery worth over £10,000 was stolen from a Wordsley family.

The prime suspect was caught on camera selling on silver ingots to a jewellers in Birmingham which were later identified as having been stolen during the break in.

The intruder smashed a window of the house, on Kinver Street, during broad daylight on the morning of March 30, leaving a trail of destruction.

A safe containing several thousand pounds and valuable items of jewellery and was stolen.

The suspect was caught on camera two days later.

Dc Sean Corrigan, from Dudley investigation team, said: "We want to hear from anyone who recognises the man pictured as we believe he was in possession of items stolen during the burglary, therefore is likely to be of significant interest to our investigation."
