Boys charged over four 'gunpoint robberies' across Tipton

Two schoolboys appeared in court today after a string of four alleged gunpoint robberies across Tipton.

The pair , aged 15 and 14, were held on Thursday evening after a number of incidents across the area.

Today, they appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court charged with robbery, two counts of possession of an imitation firearm, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

An 18-year-old man from Yardley in Birmingham arrested at the same time at the two boys has been released on police bail.
