Drugs worth £50,000 found in Black Country raids

Crack cocaine worth £50,000 was found at two homes in the Black Country in police raids.

Officers raided he properties on Henley Close, Great Bridge, and Moat Road, Oldbury, and are said to have found £9,000 in cash as well as chemicals to cut the drugs with.

Shezad Hussain, aged 34, and Fazal Rehman, 35, both of Moat Road Oldbury, were arrested and later charged in connection with the seizures, which happened on Saturday.

Hussain was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and has been remanded in custody by magistrates in Sandwell.

Rehman was charged with possession of Class A drugs and released on police bail to appear before court on August 14.
