Albion fans arrested over Aston Villa derby violence

Six West Bromwich Albion supporters have been arrested after a large group attacked rivals ahead of the derby match with Aston Villa in November.

They were arrested on Monday for violent disorder, and have now all been bailed while investigations are carried out.

It follows an incident that took place before the evening Hawthorns fixture on Monday, November 25 at around 6.15pm outside and inside the Roseville Tavern in Hockley.

West Midlands Police said a group of up to 10 to 15 West Brom supporters attacked a group of Villa fans.

The match finished 2-2.
