Brothers arrested over car-key burglaries

Two brothers who were being sought by police after a string of car crimes across the Black Country have been arrested.

Liam and Shane Hadlington, aged 30 and 25, from Tipton, were wanted for questioning after a black VW Passat was stolen from a driveway in Rowley Regis.

Detectives also wanted to speak to the pair after two Vauxhall Corsas were stolen using keys taken during burglaries in Brierley Hill and Wordsley.

The offences all happened between last Wednesday and last Friday.

The brothers were arrested in the early hours of Friday morning.

A boy, 17, has been arrested and charged with burglary and was remanded in custody by Dudley magistrates on Monday in connection with the case.
