The youngster was waiting for a bus at Queensway station in Halesowen when he was surrounded by three men and a woman.

The woman is then said to have snatched his iPhone 4 from his grasp before fleeing away. The suspect pictured here boarded a bus a short time later.

She is in her late teens, around 5ft 7ins tall, with collar length dark frizzy hair.

Dc Matt Nightingale, from Dudley police station, said: "We believe the group targeted the lad because of his age and would appeal to anyone who recognises this suspect to call me or one of my team. The young boy was showing his phone to a friend when the thief snatched it from him.

"I would like to appeal to the woman to do the right thing and come forward so we can hear her side of the story. The victim was obviously shaken by the ordeal but was thankfully uninjured."

It happened on October 10 at around 3.30pm.
