Teenager arrested after man attacked in Willenhall pub

A teenager has been arrested after a 43-year-old man was attacked in the toilets of a pub.

Police were called the Castle Inn on New Road, Willenhall just before 2.15pm on Saturday following reports of a disturbance.

The victim, who had not long entered the pub, is understood to have been left with facial injuries.

The man was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

A 17-year-old was detained nearby and was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Detectives are keen to trace a second man as they investigate the circumstances around the attack.
