Medical evidence was being heard today in the trial of a Kidderminster man accused of murdering his wife.
Alan Evans, aged 35, denies killing wife Louise, 32, after she discovered he was having an affair.
Mrs Evans’s body was found at the bottom of the stairs at their home in Stoney Lane on July 10 last year.
Dr Daniel Du Plessis, a consultant neuropathologist specialising in head injuries, said he wasn’t in a position to provide a cause of death but the head injuries Louise had ‘were not in themselves lethal’.
The trial continues.
