An 85-year-old woman was robbed as she waited for a tram, sparking a police appeal for information.
The victim was waiting at The Crescent tram stop in Wolverhampton when she was robbed of her handbag.
She was taken to hospital with shoulder, hip and wrist injuries.
Officers have launched an appeal for help to trace a white Ford Focus car with a missing front nearside wheel trim which was spotted in the area around the time of the robbery.
It happened at around 2.15pm on September 25.
Officers have made a return visit to the site a week on to speak to commuters and see if anyone holds vital information.
Investigating officer Det Con Dan Hart said: “Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw a ‘new shape’ white Ford Focus car with a missing front, near-side wheel trim, in the area of The Crescent tram stop, Greencroft Road or High Street from around 2.15pm on September 25.
“We believe it was being driven by a young, white male who will have information which can assist this investigation.
“We would also like to speak to anyone using the tram system, especially those who got on or off at The Crescent, between 2.15pm and 2.30pm.”
People with information should call British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40.
