Four men and two teenage boys were appearing in court today in connection with an alleged assault on a football fan at Walsall railway station.
The victim, a 56-year-old Portsmouth fan from Addlestone, Surrey, suffered a broken jaw.
The incident is said to have followed the Saddlers match against Portsmouth at Banks’s Stadium on January 4 at around 10.15pm.
Appearing at Walsall Magistrates Court was Peter Harvey, aged 33, from Bloxwich charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and affray.
Anthony Clarke, 26, and Scott Forrester, 25, both of Walsall, and Christopher Genders, 21, of Willenhall, were also charged with affray, along with two 14-year-old boys who cannot be named for legal reasons.
