Caremark declared they were 'shocked' at the revelations, which emerged over the weekend following a national newspaper sting, and had suspended the two employees concerned.

The organisation, which also has a branch in Wednesfield, arranges care for people in their own homes.

Councillor Ian Robertson, responsible for health in the Walsall borough, said: "The first priority is to make sure the people who use the service are being cared for properly.

"Elderly people get confused when their care packages are disturbed.

"I hope this can be resolved as quickly as possible."

Footage showed two workers posing topless in the office while they were allegedly advertising their services on an online escorting website.

Health and social care watchdog, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) also confirmed their inspectors were going to investigate the matter.

Caremark have moved to reassure people that their clients have not been put at risk.
