Paul Lambert's side head to Anfield to take on Jurgen Klopp's Premier League high-fliers next Saturday at 12.30pm.

Some supporters waited more than two hours and within the first 45 minutes 1,028 tickets of Wolves allocation of 8,300 were sold.

Tom and Barbara Jones with their tickets

Supporter Tom Jones, 75, from Cannock, will be going with his wife Barbara. He's been going to games since he was a boy, and got Barbara interested in Wolves when they were courting in the 60s.

He said: "We've been on the Anfield tour so it will be good to see a game there. I think they'll play their strongest side. They can't take any chances against a side like Wolves, especially after how we played against Stoke."

The visitors won through by shocking top-flight side Stoke City, winning 2-0 at the Britannia Stadium with strikes from Helder Costa and Matt Doherty.
