M6 delays as blaze destroys northbound car
The M6 was closed northbound between junction 12 and 13 after thick smoke from a car fire spread across it.

Firefighters from Cannock and Penkridge were sent to deal with the blaze at 10.51am, which destroyed a saloon car.
Nobody was injured in the fire which started as a result of an engine malfunction.
Initially all lanes were closed but by 11.30 all lanes were back open by 12.30pm once the gutted vehicle was recovered.
