Hospital probe over newborn baby death
An investigation has been launched into the death of a newborn baby who was sent home from a Staffordshire hospital.

It is understood that the three-week-old infant died just two days after being discharged from Royal Stoke University Hospital.
University of Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust confirmed a probe was under way but stated no other details were available at this stage.
A Trust spokesman said: "An investigation is under way, but the Trust cannot comment further due to patient confidentiality."
