Lucky punters who put money down on Dandy Flame in the 18.10 on Monday, came away with huge returns on their bets.

It is the second longest price winner in the country's horse racing history after Equinoctial, who was a 250-1 chance when he won a novice hurdle at Kelso in November 1990.

William Hill said one person bet £25 each-way, winning the online customer £6,050.

Jon Ivan-Duke, William Hill spokesman, called the result a 'complete shock'.
