Phoebe Connop was last seen alive by her father Lawrence when he dropped her off at their home in Halesowen.

The Windsor High School pupil had been working with her father and step mother, Lisa Connop, at Deacon Products in Cradley Heath.

But after complaining of feeling tired, she was taken to the family home in Witley Avenue over lunch.

When her father returned after work, he found her dead.

An inquest has been opened into her death, on July 7.

At a hearing last week, Black Country Coroner Zafar Siddique heard how police concluded there was nothing suspicious about her death.

He adjourned the inquest until August 26 for toxicology and police reports.

Mrs Connop, aged 42, said Phoebe, who was born in Stafford, was a keen gymnast who had ambitions of becoming a mid-wife.

She said the family found a 'wish list' in her bedroom following her death which listed she wished to study at sixth form.

Her death came days after her high school prom.

Mrs Connop said: "It came completely out of the blue - everyone is devastated, we can't believe it."

She added: "She had come into work with me and we were laughing and joking on the way in.

"Apart from saying she felt tired, I couldn't see anything wrong.

"Her father then took her home over lunch time, and then later, when he returned from work, found her dead at home.

"She was extremely popular - we've had so many people come round here, her death has touched many.

"She was a warm and loving teenager with her life ahead of her."

Phoebe leaves behind three sisters and two step brothers.

The family are yet to organise a memorial service, but her school has opened a book of condolences in her memory.
