Two cars were involved in the crash, which happened at the junction of Broadway and Birmingham Road at around 3.15pm yesterday.

One woman walked away from the overturned car, which ended up on the pavement surrounded by debris, while four people in the second car also avoided injury.

All five were treated by ambulance crews and discharged at the scene.

West Midlands Ambulance Service posted photos of the crash, tweeting that the woman was "incredible lucky to walk away uninjured."

Service spokesman Jamie Arrowsmith said: "We arrived on scene to find a car on its roof and five patients in total, one of whom was from the car that had overturned.

"Amazingly, the woman in that car did not suffer any injuries and following assessment from ambulance staff was discharged at the scene. Thankfully luck was on her side to walk away uninjured.

"There were four patients in the other car, three males and a female.

"They were also assessed by crews and treated for minor injuries but again, did not require transporting to hospital."
