This motorbike stunt rider showing off his tricks in a Wolverhampton car park left police unimpressed

A video showing a motorcyclist performing stunts on his machine in Wolverhampton has sparked a warning from police.

The rider was filmed practising a series of tricks on an empty car park in Shaw Road during the 25-second footage.

Dressed in jeans and a hoodie, he rides at speed, rising in the saddle and bringing the machine forward at a 60 degree angle on to its front wheel.

He then swings the bike round in the opposite direction and sits back before setting off again, this time raising the bike on to its back wheel.

In a remarkable display of balance he leans back, bringing the bike almost upright, and proceeds to cross over from one side of the bike to the other, using the footholds. His identity is hidden under a white helmet.

But his trickery has upset police officers in Bushbury and Oxley who have warned the motorcyclist not to use public land as a rehearsal area.

Sergeant Gavin Plumridge said: "We've received a number of complaints from local businesses and residents about this bike using the car park to practice stunts.

"Complaints have been about noise nuisance, anti-social behaviour and marks left on the tarmac.

"People are also concerned about safety. My officers took the video to show the rider and advise him about his behaviour."
