Talk about a tight space.

The driver of this car is believed to have lost control, with the Citroen C2 ending up wedged in a narrow walkway.

Fortunately the motorist, a woman in her 20s, was safe and sound as she was helped out of the car in Forge Lane, Cradley Heath.

Paramedics alerted a crew from Haden Cross Fire Station to the scene around 4.30pm yesterday, where the driver was checked over.

Crew commander Stuart Hawkins said: "It's obviously a very unusual incident to have taken place, but fortunately the female driver was left uninjured and was out of the car by the time we arrived on the scene. We believe she lost control of the vehicle and veered off into the path of the narrow walkway space."
